The Report on Climate Change by Think tank e2 is the first extensive study on the Finns’ attitudes and ideas on climate change, its reasons and consequences, necessary measures and their effectiveness.

In the report, citizens estimate their level of knowledge, the available information and the reliability of the information sources. The study even aimed to discover the respondents’ thoughts on the future and who they feel is responsible for climate change.

The report was conducted by Director for e2 Karina Jutila, Doctor of Social Sciences, and Peter Ekholm, Licentiate in Law, together with researcher Pentti Kiljunen from Yhdyskuntatutkimus Oy.

e2 is a think tank based on progressive values and liberal ideals.

It initiates debate on new issues and presents alternative solutions to central challenges in society.
