The lives of millions of children in the Horn of Africa are being threatened by chronic food insecurity, conflict and political instability, the United Nations Children’s Fund warned on Friday.

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon is pleased over the fact that G20 leaders committed themselves to a .1 trillion package. But he emphasizes that it will be critical that the share of this going to the poorer countries is delivered.
