Vilma Niskanen works as a specialist at E2 Research. Her responsibilities include the implementation of research projects, event planning and coordination, and communications. Niskanen has been specifically involved in research on the topics of working life, labour shortages, and intergenerational cooperation.
Niskanen is passionate about current social phenomena and enjoys exploring various perspectives. She is particularly interested in how to make science and research communication more participatory.
Niskanen has a background in the history of science and ideas and is also a doctoral researcher in the field at the University of Oulu. Her doctoral dissertation, focused on the history of criminology, offers a basis for a comprehensive examination of the norms and practices of our own time.
